Betty F. Feezel, 86, of St. Elmo, Illinois,died at 3:37 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Willowbrook Memory Care, Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the First Christian Church, Brownstown, Illinois, with Nathan Brands officiating. Burial will follow at Griffith Cemetery, Brownstown, Illinois. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2019 and for one hour prior to service time, both at the church. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, Brownstown, Illinois, or the donor’s choice.
Betty was born on Tuesday, November 29, 1932 in County Line, Oklahoma to Ira and Beulah (Dixson) Bolles. She married Billy Dean Feezel on January 11, 1953 and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2006.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Brownstown, Illinois, . Betty taught in the St. Elmo school district for 31 years and substitute taught for an additional 8 years.
She is survived by her son, Clinton Feezel and his wife Laura of Brownstown, Illinois; daughter, Cathy Schuster and her husband Kurt of Brighton, Colorado; 4 grandchildren, Alicia Schuster, Lacey (Alex) Walk, Lauren (Nathaniel) Carroll and Tyler Feezel; 2 great grandchildren, Nora and Calin Carroll.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ortez Bolles, sisters, Olene Broaddus and Oleta Beeson.
