Mrs. Oleta Beeson, 89, of McHenry, IL formerly of Vandalia, IL and long time resident of Oklahoma City, OK passed away at 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Fox Point Manor in McHenry, IL. She was born August 20, 1922, in Purcell, OK, the daughter of Ira McKinley Bolles and Beulah Mae Dixon Bolles. On January 28, 1944, she married Merle A. Beeson, Sr. in Brownstown, IL. He passed away on March 6, 2006.
Survivors include her son, Merle "Audie" Beeson, Jr. and wife Cheri of Richmond, Illinois; grandsons, Jason Beeson of Chicago, Illinois and Jeffrey Beeson and his wife Heather of North Aurora, Illinois; granddaughter, Jessica Beeson of Chicago, Illinois and sister Betty Feezel St. Elmo, Illinois. She was preceded by her parents, husband, son, John M. Beeson in 1994 and brother, Ortez Bolles and sister Olene Broaddus.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the Mount Cemetery, south of Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
