Former Resident Dies at Farr West UT.
FARR WEST, Weber county Mrs Lovina Blanchard Lee, 71, widow of Albert B. Lee, died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs Gilbert Taylor of Farr West, following a four-month illness.
Mrs Lee was born January 29, 1871, in Farmington, a daughter of William and Jerusha Walker Blanchard. In 1892 she was married to Mr Lee at Afton, Wyo. The couple moved to Big Horn, Montana where they resided 11 years, after which they moved to Etna, Wyo. Mrs Lee came to Farr West five year ago.
Active in L.D.S. church affairs, she served as president of Relief Societies in Big Horn and Etna. She also served as a Primary and Sunday School teacher in Etna and had served as an L.D.S. temple worker and a practical nurse.
Surviving are one son and three daughter: Don Bracken Lee of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mrs LeRoy King of Ogden, Utah; Clair Taylor and Mrs gilbert Taylor of Farr West, and the following brothers and sisters; Frank Blanchard of Hagerman, Idaho; Don C. Blanchard of Battle Mountain, Nev.; LeRoy Blanchard of Dayton, Ore.; Eugene Blanchard of Oregon City, Orel; Mrs Henry Kennington of Afton, Wyo., and Mrs Nels Christensen of Imber, Ore.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Farr West L.D.S. ward chapel by A.D. Brown bishop. Burial in Plain City cemetery.
