Morgan S. Bogart, 71, of East Stroudsburg, died Thursday evening, October 17, 2019, while under hospice care at home. 

Born on February 15, 1948 in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Chester Sr. and Evelyn (Berger) Bogart. 

He was a lifetime resident of Monroe County and worked at Burnley Workshop in Hamilton Township. 

Morgan was a soldier of The Salvation Army in East Stroudsburg where he also helped his mother in the soup kitchen. 

He loved watching John Wayne movies, cowboy movies and old time tv shows; and also enjoyed wildlife and animals. 

Surviving are a brother, Donald L. Bogart, of East Stroudsburg; two sisters in law, Freda Bogart and Jenny Bogart both of East Stroudsburg; a niece, Melissa Azzalina; and two nephews, Ronald Bogart, Jr. and Chester Bogart III. He was preceded in death by a sister, LouAnn Bogart; and two brothers, Chester Bogart, Jr. and Ronald C. Bogart. 

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, at The Salvation Army, 226 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg; with viewing beginning at 10:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM with Major Gilbert Parkhurst officiating. Burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Middle Smithfield Township.
