Born on June 21, 1950 in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Chester, Sr. and Evelyn (Berger) Bogart and was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
He served in the Army National Guard.
Ron was a self-employed contractor and in earlier years worked for Baylor Motors, Ertle Subaru and Jack's Market.
He was an active member of Stroudsburg United Methodist Church; was an assistant Scout Master for Troop 86; and volunteered on the stage crew at the Delaware Water Gap Celebration Of The Arts.
In addition to his wife, surviving are two children, Melissa Azzalina and husband Michael of Saylorsburg and Ronald C. Bogart, Jr. and fiancé Megan Frantz of Saylorsburg; five grandchildren, Katelyn Wagner, Joshua Hayes, Zachary Azzalina, Brandon Azzalina and Sophia Azzalina; two great-grandchildren, Aria and Evelyn Wagner; two brothers, Donald L. Bogart and Morgan S. Bogart both of East Stroudsburg; and a sister in law, Freda Bogart of East Stroudsburg. His brother, Chester Bogart, Jr. died in the same automobile accident; and he was preceded in death by a sister, LouAnn Bogart.
Services will be held on Friday, September 28, from the Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, 547 Main Street, Stroudsburg; with visitation beginning at 9:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM with Rev. Robert Shank officiating. Cremation was private.
