Philip James, son of Morel George Albrook and Laura Belle South Albrook, was born May 27, 1897 at Greene. When he was seven years of age the family moved to the Delhi area. After their mother passed away Philip went to live with an older sister at Lakeville, Minnesota and then later with a younger sister at Independence. In April 1963 he made his permanent home with his sister, Mrs. Ernest (Glenna) Dempster of Manchester.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Dempster and Mrs. Clifton (Alice) Sheppard of Sydney, Nebraska and two brothers, Burleigh Albrook of Independence and Charles Albrook of San Francisco, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
