In April 1919, she married to Roy C. Horton (1888-1980) at Fort Worth, Texas.
They were the parents of one child.
On July 11, 1923, she married G.E. Washburn.
They were the parents of two children.

Delhi. Mr. and Mrs. M.G. Albrook received the sad news Friday of the death of their daughter, Mrs. Nellie Washburn, at Rapid City, South Dakota. Mr. Albrook left that evening for Rapid City and word from him since is that the body of his daughter will be brought here for burial, arriving here on Tuesday. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home. Mr. and Mrs. Albrook have the sincere sympathy of their friends. A complete obituary will be printed next week.

Mrs. G.E. Washburn Buried at Delhi
Delhi, July 28, 1931. Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Albrook Washburn held at the home of her parents in Delhi on Wednesday afternoon and were in charge of Rev. Fred A. Smith of State Center. Burial was in the Delhi Cemetery beside her brother, Frank, who passed away seven years ago.

Nellie Myrtle Albrook, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.G. Albrook, was born at Delhi on November 15, 1895. She attended the public school in the community where she grew to womanhood. In April 1919, she was married to Roy C. Horton at Fort Worth, Texas where Mr. Horton was stationed as a member of the United States Army. From this marriage, one son, Carl Robert, survives. On July 11, 1923, she was married to G.E. Washburn of Rapid City, an overseas veteran of the World War. To this union, two children, Frank and Frances, were born. Mrs. Washburn was a member of the Methodist Church, of Silver Lake Rebekah Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary.

After a short illness, she passed away at Rapid City, South Dakota, where her home had been made since her marriage. Following funeral services at Rapid City, her body was brought to Delhi to its final resting place. Mrs. Washburn is survived by her husband, G.E. Washburn, two sons and a daughter, Robert Horton and Frank and Frances Washburn, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. M.G. Albrook of Delhi; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Helkenn of Savage, Minnesota, Mrs. Emma Wathen and Misses Glennie and Alice of Delhi and four brothers, Raymond, James and Burleigh, all of Delhi and Charles, a Marine Guard on the U.S.S. West Virginia. Mrs. Washburn's family have many friends in this community who sympathize deeply with them at the time of their bereavement.
