Lota, 97, of Marceline, MO died at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center, Marceline. Graveside service were held with Rev. Jim Farris officiating. McLaughlin-Renshaw Funeral Chapel of Marceline directed the service.∼"A lifelong Marceline resident, she was a member of the National Association of Retired and Veteran Railway Employees and the Order of the Eastern Star, of which she was a past worthy matron. She worked for Wrenn and Dale for 15 years before her marriage. The owner of the Lola Medlin Income Tax and Bookkeeping Service, she was elected secretary of the Marceline Home Savings and Loan Association in 1970. She retired in 1975."
