MRS. FLOYD CHAPMAN, 72, DIES IN HOSPITAL
Mrs. Ophia Chapman, 72, died July 29 in an Excelsior Springs Hospital.
She was a member of the Lawson, Missouri United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Chapman, of the home in Lawson; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Melson, Kansas City; a son, Leland Chapman, Independence, Missouri; four brothers, Lawrence Eastin, Burlington, Iowa, Chalmers and Jess Eastin, both of Eagleville, and Fred Eastin, Blythedale; and two grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Stoklass Chapel in Cainsville, with Rev. Noel Adams officiating. Burial was in Zoar Cemetery in Cainsville.
