A native of Spartanburg County; daughter of the late Archie Lee Calvert, Sr. and Allene Marie Floyd Calvert; widow of Wofford "Slim" Greenway who died in 1999.
A retired seamstress and was a member of Hayne Baptist Church; member of the Martha Brady Sunday School Class, WMU, and the Young at Heart group.
Survived by a daughter, Lynn Greenway McCune; sisters, Doris Calvert Owens, Juanita Calvert McGowan, Margaret Calvert Hodge, and Sandra Calvert Wilson; brothers, Archie Lee Calvert, Jr., Bobby Ansel Calvert, and Allen Calvert; two step-granddaughters and two step-great-granddaughters.
Memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 1, 2004, at Hayne Baptist Church; Rev. John Lynch officiated.
In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Hayne Baptist Church, 7319 Valley Falls Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
