She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Addie Warner, Doris Galloway, and Ima Anderson; and brothers, Bill, Ted, and Junior Albritton. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Cecil of Brownwood; sons, Wayne VanHoose and wife, Glenda Kay of Spokane, WA, and John VanHoose and wife, Brenda of Odessa; daughters, Edith VanHoose of Brownwood, and Marilyn Holland and husband, John of Brownwood; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
