Funeral for Addie Mae Dodson Warner, 87, of Bridgeport was March 6 at Twin Oaks Assembly of God Church in Bridgeport with the Rev. Garry Sessions officiating. Burial was at Paradise Cemetery.
Warner died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, in Grapevine. Born April 3, 1921, in Bridgeport to Ben Franklin and Sarah Bell (Pearce) Albritton, she was a retired administrator for Poco Graphite. She was a member of the Twin Oaks Assembly of God Church, the Red Hatters and the Wise County Art Association. She was also a volunteer for the Pink Ladies at Wise Regional Health System, was a past president of Wise County AARP and was a greeter at Wal-Mart.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rayford Dodson; her second husband, Richard Warner; son, Garland Dodson; brother, Jr. Albritton; and sister, Doris Galloway.
She is survived by her daughter, Gay Turner and husband, Tom, of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Chris Turner and wife, Jill, of North Richland Hills and Eric Turner and wife, Kristin, of Austin; great-grandchildren, Colin Turner and Ryan Turner; brothers, Bill Albritton and wife, Dortha, of Arkansas and Ted Albritton and wife, Geneva, of Houston; sisters, Ima Anderson of Decatur and Betty Van Hoose and husband, Cecil, of Plains; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers were Chris Turner, Eric Turner, Robert Anderson, Paul Anderson, Ted Albritton and Richard Albritton.
