Orpha Mae Thompson was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She served as a Regent in the Lt. Thomas Barlow Chapter of San Benito, Texas from 1928-1930.

GRAVESIDE RITES FOR
MRS. L. H. THOMPSON
Graveside rites for Mrs. L. H. (Orpha) Thompson, 68, Harlingen, Tex., sister of Mrs. T. R. Cole, Lamont, were held at 9L30 a. m. Wednesday at Lamont cemetery. Rev. Franklin George, pastor of Lamont Methodist church officiated. Burial was in charge of the Curl funeral home.
Mrs. Thompson died Monday morning in a San Antonio, Tex. hospital.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Gilbert Philen, Brownsville, Tex., and Mrs. W. P. Kumbrough (sp. Kimbrough), Itta Bene, Miss.; a daughter-in-las, Mrs. Phil Thompson, Odessa, Tex.; and a son, Laile Thompson, Houston, Tex.; her sister, Mrs. T. R. Cole, Lamont, and a brother, Harry Tucker, Sulphur Springs, Arkansas.
