Funeral services were to be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church for Friel Delp, 72, who died in a Marion hospital Tuesday.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clyde Cornett Delp and a brother, J. M. Delp of Comers Rock.
Burial was in the Comers Rock Cemetery. The Rev. Frank Bauman and the Rev. J. R. Shumate officiated.
Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in Independence was in charge of the arrangements.
