James Patrick “Pat”, 87, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 in Oologah, Oklahoma. Pat was born on September 27, 1931 in Paris, Arkansas to Horace and Hattie (Herring) Core. He served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War.

Pat married Margie Spicer and together they raised three children. They lived in a few different Places over the years, such as Tulsa, Oklahoma and Scranton, Arkansas, but they considered Vera, Oklahoma as their home.

Pat retired as a captain in the Bartlesville Fire Department, was a cattle rancher, and was a member of the Collinsville Masonic Lodge. Pat had a great love for his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a loving husband, a good friend to many, and caring soul. Pat will be greatly missed.

Pat is survived by his wife, Margie Core; his children James Allen Core of Tulsa, Lindell Douglas Core and wife Margaret of Arlington, Virginia; Karen Robinson of Bartlesville; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, family and friends. His parents, Horace and Hattie Core
preceded him in death.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dalton Funeral Home, Collinsville, Oklahoma. See additional in photo attached.
