A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Zack Homer Hooper and Ruby Rickman Hooper. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Horstman. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Jacksonville, FL, and had a passion for nature and photography.
Surviving are her sons, Charles MeHaffey of Pineville, KY, Jeffery McHaffey of Pampa, TX, and Gary McHaffey of Billings, MT; daughter, Kathy McHaffey of Billings, MT; brothers, Samuel Hooper and wife, Janice of Cruso, Bobby Hooper and wife, Zelda of Altamont, TN, and a wonderful grandchild.
A private graveside service will be held in Tennessee.
