Broadlands – Little Hazel Dix, second child of Dr. T. A. Dix, of this village, died Sunday morning, after an illness of two weeks. Brain fever was the cause of her death. She was two years old. The funeral services were held at the U. B. church by Rev. Neugent, Opal and Florence Moore, Jennie and Maude Holmes acting as pallbearers. Dr. Dix and wife have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in the loss of this fragile flower which God has so early called home.
