Mrs. Eli Cramer, an old and highly respected pioneer of this township, died at her home south of the village, Sunday morning, March 6, 1904, aged 67 years, 11 months and 6 days, after an illness extending over several years. She was a pioneer of this township having lived many years in the western part. Thirteen years ago they moved to his village and eleven years ago to the home where she died. She was retiring in disposition, but was a kind neighbor and a sympathetic friend. Besides her husband who is in very poor health, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Gardner of this place and Mrs. Harry Allsopp of Niles. Funeral services were held at the home, Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. George Bullen, pastor of the M. E. Church of which Mrs. Cramer was a member for many years, and burial was made in the cemetery at Bloomer Center. One brother, David Hayes of Weidman and five sisters, Mrs. Zimmerman of Sheridan, Mrs. Wm. Russell, Bushnell, Mrs. Graham of Muskegon, Mrs. R. T. Huyck of Butternut, Mrs. S. Arntz of Sheridan survive her an d all were present at the funeral.
