She was born in Montgomery County, NC on November 7, 1931.
She worked for many years as an Administration Assistant for Lumberton Recreational Department.
Mrs. Lineberry was preceded in death by her first husband, Ed Edmund, until his death on June 20, 1990; her second husband, Joe Lineberry who passed away on July 4, 2001; her parents, John Curles and Pearl Grey-Curlesson; her beloved son, Eddie Edmund; and a sister, Margaret Bischke.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Marie Thompson (Jimmy) of Lumberton; two grandchildren, Lance Thompson (Lisa) and Matt Thompson (Candace), all of Lumberton; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Bailee, Maci and Declan Thompson; a step-son, Joe Linberry, Jr. (Beth) of Winston-Salem, NC; three step-grandchildren, Steve Lineberry (Erica), Brent Lineberry (Megan) and David Lineberry (Allyssa); and several step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Gardens of Faith Cemetery Mausoleum with Rev. LeRoy Burke officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 or to the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, 101 Old Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517.
