Ignace L. Guidry, 77, of Lafayette, died at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday (June 10, 1975) at his residence after a short illness.
He is survived by his widow, one son, Roy Guidry, Church Point; four daughters, Mrs. Frank (Mercedes) Arceneaux, Lufkin, Texas; Mrs. Aaron (Enadine) Thibodeaux, Opelousas; Mrs. Eugene (Earline) Bordelon, Moreauville, and Mrs. Edward (Rita) Neupert, New Orleans; one brother, Berchman Guidry, Lafayette; three sisters, Mrs. Vincent Fontenot, Church Point; Mrs. Francis Richard, Opelousas, and Mrs. Maurice Richard, Church Point; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday (June 12, 1975) at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott. Burial will be in the St. John Berchmann Cemetery in Cankton directed by Martin and Castille Funeral Home, Scott.
