Services for Earlene Guidry Bordelon were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 7, 2006, with the Msgr. Steve Testa officiating.
Entombment was in Sacred Heart Mausoleum, under direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bordelon, age 74, of Bunkie, formerly of Moreauville, died Saturday, February 4, 2006 at The Baily House in Bunkie.
Born and raised in Church Point, shw was a 1951 graduate of Hotel Dieu School of Nursing in New Orleans.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ignace and Rose Guidry; her husband, Eugene Mark Bordelon; and one sister, Mercedes Arceneaux.
She is survived by one son, Mark D Bordelon and his wife Shawn of Hamburg; two daughters, Tina B. Bordelon of Lakeland and Jill Bordelon and her husband Scott of Bordelonville; a brother, Roy Guidry of Church Point; two sisters, Ena Thibodeaux of Carencro, and Rita Neupert of Hammond; eight grandchildren, Chantelle B. Larussa and husband Ryan. Jolie, Cody, Jared, Kyle, Samantha, Natalie and Alyssa; and a great-grandchild, Braydon Larussa.
