Mrs. Byrl Rae Harmon Westrick, age 84, of Lockport, Kentucky formerly of Milton, Kentucky entered this life on December 9, 1934 in Milton, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Lloyd Lee and Mary Lee Foster Harmon. She was raised in Trimble County attending school there and grew up in the Union Grove Church. On July 10, 1954 she was united in marriage to Ronald C. Westrick in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This union of 44 years was blessed with daughters, Nancy and Ronda and a son, Garry. She attended Mt.Tabor Wesleyan Church after Union Grove Church closed. She enjoyed farm life, working in tobacco and helping area farmers. She had worked earlier in life as a local dispatcher for cab companies and at the restaurant owned by Sarah Sedam in downtown Madison. She also had held membership in the old Eagles Lodge in Madison and the Milton Fire and Rescue Auxiliary. Byrl enjoyed crossword puzzles, quilting, crocheting, the Game Show Network, her farm animals, antiques, canning, and drinking her coffee throughout the day. Byrl died on Friday, August 2, 2019, at 6:21 a.m. at the Baptist Health-LaGrange in La Grange, Kentucky.

A LOVING FAMILY
Byrl will be missed by her loving son, Garry M. Westrick of Lockport, Kentucky; her loving daughter, Ronda L. Westrick of Madison, Indiana; her loving grandchildren, Ronald David Wilson (Jamie), Aleatha Westrick, Bobby Wayne Westrick, and Rebecca Westrick; her great grandchildren, William David McQueary, Zoe Wilson, Nolen Reed Wilson, Carolyn Wilson, Jessica Wilson, Tyler Westrick (Jazzlyne), Bailey Westrick, and Tayler Westrick; sshe was expecting her first great great granddaughter this month; her brothers, Gayle Harmon (Ruth) of Vevay, Indiana, Keith Harmon (Sharon) of Bedford, Kentucky, Johnny Harmon (Wanda) of Milton, Kentucky, Steve Harmon of Hamilton, Ohio; her sisters, Francis McFarland of Patriot, Indiana, Joy Romans of Vevay, Indiana, Diane Hensley (Don) of Carrollton, Kentucky, Nadine McCane (Daniel) of Milton, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Lee Harmon, her mother, Mary Lee Foster Harmon, her foster parents who raised her, Frank and Lethia Parson, her husband of 44 years, Ronald C. Westrick, died July 5, 1998, her daughter, Nancy C. Westrick Moore, died May 23, 1986, her grandsons, Edward A. Westrick, died July 28, 1999 and Cody R.Moore, died in 2015, her sisters, Virginia Pierce, Ernestine Harmon, Opal Harmon, Ruby Dale Harmon, and her twin sister, Myrl Faye Fox, and her brothers, Bobby Harmon, Dale Harmon, and Ernest Harmon.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., by Bro. Logan Westrick Jr. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky.

VISITATION
Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
