He was born Feb. 25, 1942, in Milton, Ky., the son of Lloyd Lee and Lola Mae Brown Harmon. He enjoyed going to the airport and watching the planes take off and land. He also enjoyed auto racing and playing with dogs and other animals.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Faye McCane Harmon; five children, Carol Ann Harmon of Carrollton, Ky., Mellisa Jane Temple of Milton, Ky., Robert B. Harmon of Bedford, Ky., Rhonda Lynn Harmon of Eminence, Ky., and James Dennis Harmon of Bedford, Ky.; several brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral was at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, Ky. Burial was in Bedford Cemetery.
