Mr. Brumfield passed away at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Sunday, July 28, 2019. He was born November 10, 1934 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Grace and Cullen Brumfield. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years Lottie Brumfield; brothers Bill, Frank, and Bob Brumfield; and sister Lula Meadows.
Mr. Brumfield was an active member and deacon of Mesa Baptist Church. He served 28 years as Tylertown Ward 2 Alderman and served 18 years with the Walthall Dixie Youth Baseball program. He enjoyed playing cards, maintaining his blueberry bushes, and spending time with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Survivors include his children Karon (Greg) Adams, Stacy (Joe) Larimore, Abby (Benton) Kennedy; grandchildren Neal (Cortney) Adams, Cecily (Eric) Chenault, Joshua Morgan, Lance (Brooke) Morgan, great- grandchildren Amber Noffke, Angela (John) Lollis, Meagan Wiley, Keagan Kennedy, Harper Adams, Ellis Chenault. Lola Noffke, Emma Wiley, Piper Morgan, Colton Wiley; sisters Jean (Troy) Coward and Jennie (Gene) Norman; brother Jewell (Evelyn) Brumfield and sister-in-law Grace Stogner.
Pallbearers are Josh Morgan, Lance Morgan, Neal Adams, Eric Chenault, Keagan Kennedy, and
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 3:00 P.M. at Mesa Baptist Church.
