of the late Henry C. and Ruth Annie Carter Coffey.
A Baptist, he was employed by River Pilot and was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Survivors include three brothers, Gary Coffey of Rhodhiss, Bill Coffey of Rutherford Coll-
ege and Van Coffey of Bethlehem; four sisters, Mae Holverstott of Seattle, Wash., Lois
Coffey of Morganton, Marilyn Franklin of Hudson and Frances Underwood of Mocksville;
and a number of nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Ray Turnmire at 2 p.m. Monday in Pine-
crest Cemetery. The family will be at Mackie-High Funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.
Monday.
