Noah L. Adamson was born in Appanoose county (sic), Iowa, April 21, 1862 and passed away at his home in Nelson, Nebraska, May 13, 1939, at the age of 77 years and 22 days.
He came to Nebraska in the year of 1882.

He was married to Jennie Oldham September 24, 1890. to this union were born one son and two daughters, one daughter dying at the age of three and one-half years.

He accepted Christ as his Savior when a young man and had lived a Christian life. He liked to read and study the Bible to find the true meaning of God's word. He was a good husband, father, and neighbor, and ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, his son and wife, one daughter and husband, five grandchildren and one great grandchild; three brothers, a number of nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

It's sad that one we cherish
Should be taken from our home,
But the joys that do not perish
Live in memory alone.
All the years we've spent together,
All the happy, golden hours--
Shall be cherished in remembrance
Fragrant sweet from memory's flowers.

The funeral service was conducted in the Christian church (sic) Monday afternoon at two o'clock, by Rev. C.M. Foust. Burial in Nelson.
