Word was received Monday by Mrs. Gertrude Skinner and F.W. Kinnison that their brother-in-law, Vernie Adamson, 75, of Hudson, Colorado died very suddenly at his home Monday afternoon. His wife is the former Berniece Kinnison.
Following services in Colorado, Mr. Adamson will be bought to Nebraska and will be at the Klawitter Mortuary in Nelson Friday. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ in Angus.
Interment will be in the Edgar Cemetery.

Vernie Albertis Adamson was born December 4, 1895, at Nelson, Nebraska. He passed away April 26, 1971, at his home east of Brighton, Colorado, at the age of 75 years, 3 months and 26 days. He joined the Christian Church at Angus, Nebraska, at an early age, later transferring his membership to the First Christian Church at Brighton, Colorado.
He was married July 12, 1916, to Berneice Kinnison at Nelson, Nebraska. Most of their married life was spent farming around Nelson and Nora, Nebraska. In 1949 they moved to their present home at Hudson, Colorado, where he farmed until his retirement. He then took up working with wood which he enjoyed very much.
Survivors include his wife Berneice; daughters, Mrs. Woodrow Stiles (Ardis) of Brighton, Colorado; Mrs. Archie Chinn (Wilma Jean) of Hudson, Colorado and Mrs. Richard Sandborn (Bonnie) of LaHabra, California; one sister, Mrs. Glen Skinner of Edgar, Nebraska; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Gene Nordbrock (Betty) on August 12, 1967, also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Noah Adamson and a sister, Laura. He also leaves a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 1, 1971 at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of Christ at Angus, Nebraska. Rev. Victor Schwarz officiated.
Casket bearers were Byron Kinnison, Warren Grossman, Kenneth Grossman, Garth Melvin, Gene Kinnison and Duane Skinner.
Interment was in the Edgar Cemetery, Edgar, Nebraska.
Arrangments were by Klawitter Funeral Home, Nelson, Nebraska.
