DAVID M. MORGAN DIES IN HOSPITAL

HINTON (RNS)--David M. Morgan, 26, of Sharples, formerly of Hinton, died at 9:45 p.m. MOnday after a short illness.

Born in Hinton, September 17, 1944, he was a son of Kyle and Chrystal Parker Morgan of Hinton.

He had lived most of his life in Hinton and two years in Sharples.

Morgan was employed as a draftsman by the Boone County Coal Company, was graduated from Hinton High School and the West Virginia Rehabilitation Institute and also attended West Virginia State College.

He was a member of the Cook's Chapel Regular Baptist Church and a former member of the Hinton Jaycees.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Taber Morgan, a sister, Mrs. Martha Rookstool of Talcott; three half-brothers, Eugene of Ravenswood, Leo Of Bridgeport, Connecticut and Albert of Williams, Virginia and two half-sisters, Mrs. Norma Artman of Fairfield, Connecticut and Mrs. Kathleen Pasicki of Easton, Connecticut.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Greenbrier Regular Baptist Church at Ronceverte with Reverend Nelson Pettit in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body will remain at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor at Hinton where friends may call after noon today.

Members of the Hinton Jaycees will serve as pallbearers.

SHARPLES -- David M. Morgan, 26, of Sharples, Logan County, died Monday in Charleston Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

A former resident of Hinton, Mr. Morgan was a draftsman for the Boone County Coal Company. He was a graduate of Hinton High School and the West Virginia Rehabilitation Center at Institute. He attended West Virginia State College and was a member of Cooks Chapel Regular Baptist Church at Pipestem. Mr. Morgan was a former member of the Hinton Jaycees and had lived in Sharples two years.

Surviving: widow, Bonnie Tabor Morgan; parents, Kyle and Chrystal Parker Morgan of Hinton; sister, Mrs. Martha Rookstool of Talcott; half-brothers, Eugene Morgan of Ravenswood, Leo Morgan of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Albert Morgan of Williamsburg, Virginia; half-sisters, Mrs. Norma Artman of Fairfield, Connecticut, Mrs. Kathleen Pasicki of Easton, Connecticut.
