Nancy was a distant cousin to Abraham Lincoln's mother. Nancy was married to Abraham Miller who preceeded her in death. she was the mother of 8 children, 4 by Mr. Miller, their children were: James Joshua Miller of Denver, Mo, William Isaac Miller, Mrs Margaret Jones dec'd, and Mrs. Lucetta O'Neal also dec'd; she then married Mr. Andrew S. Muirheid around 1852 in Decatur, Macon co., Illinois, before moving to Worth co, Mo. Their children were: Andrew Jackson Hanks Muirheid of Grant City, Mo. Franklin Pierce Muirheid of Harrison co., Mo Henraetta Ellen Muirheid dec'd, and Mrs Julia A. Morrison of Sedalia, Colorado of whom she lived with at the time of her death.

Nancy's first husband was Abraham Miller from Decatur, Macon co., Illinois he died in 1851 from consumption He was a stage stop driver which his father started from Paris Illinois thro Decatur to Springfield, Ill.
