Evelyn Allen Hoskins, 91, of Hustonville, KY passed away at home Sunday, July 7, 2019. Born February 25, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Hazel Baird Allen. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, J.L. Hoskins, on September 4, 2016, after 70 years and 8 months of marriage. Evelyn was a member of Hustonville Baptist Church for 81 years where she served as Sunday School secretary for 35 years. For most of her working life, Evelyn was able to do the job she loved by being a mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She enjoyed her antiques and being co-owner of Branch View Angus Farm. For years, she worked with Lincoln County 4-H. She was a member of Central KY Angus, Ky Angus, and the American Angus auxiliaries. Surviving are 2 daughters, Donna (Donald S.) Coffey of Hustonville and Rita (Kinney) Noe of Stanford; 3 grandchildren: James S. (LuAnn) Coffey of Hustonville, Kindra (Dustin) Witak of Pewee Valley, and Kandis (Kyle) Nicholas of Indianapolis, IN and 8 great-grandchildren: Addison, Bennett, and David Coffey, Andrew, Kinnedy, and Edith Witak, and Kade and Kash Nicholas. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10th at Hustonville Baptist Church by Bro. Andrew McGinnis with burial to follow in Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers are James S., Addison, and Bennett Coffey, Dustin and Andrew Witak, and Kyle Nicholas. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday July 9th at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hustonville Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 31, Hustonville, KY 40437.
