John T. Bennett, 86, of Sedona, died Saturday, July 28.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran; Bennett was a member of local Gem and Mineral, Experimental Airplane Association and shooting clubs.
Bennett is survived by his wife; a daughter; and a sister, Jo B. Hosmer.
A meditation service will be Thursday, Aug. 2, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Greer's Mortuary, 2725 W. Hwy. 89A, West Sedona.
