R. Deam Jacobs, 81, was called home Feb. 2, 2003, in Pueblo, Colo. Born Aug. 2, 1921, to Thomas and Pearl Jacobs, who preceded him along with a daughter, Cheryl Ann Pryor; and son-in-law, Hope Ackerly. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elsie K. Jacobs; children, Lana Dean (Gary) Richards of Billings, Mont., Bob (Beverly) Jacobs of Pueblo, Meredith (Dick) Herman of Siebert, Colo., Deana Smith of Montrose Colo.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Wednesday, Imperial Funeral Home Chapel.
