Virgil L. Jacobs, 97, born March 15, 1919, in Clinton, Ark., passed away Sept. 11, 2016, in Pueblo, Colo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Jacobs; son, Gary Jacobs; sisters, Raye Gallina, Joy Parks, Lois Roper;
brother, Dean Jacobs; and special friends, Dominick, Mary and Lucille Masterantonio. He is survived by grandson, Jonathon Jacobs; his wife, Jamie, and their children, Chantilli and Kamryn; brother, Caroll Jacobs; and special friends, Antoinette and Rose Masterantonio. Virgil was a kind, compassionate man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures: drinking coffee while watching the birds with granddaughter, Jamie; spending mornings and evenings taking care of horses at the Pueblo Roping Club; or chatting with friends over breakfast. His life was not always easy, but he faced every day with a smile on his face and gratitude for the gifts he had.
