Mrs. Martha Patterson
St. John, March 14 - Mrs. Martha Patterson, aged sixty-five years, widow of Chambers Patterson, passed away at her residence, Mt. Hebron, Sunday afternoon, March 10. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She leaves to mourn four sons and three daughters, William F., at home; Wesley C., St. John; Edward H., Jordan Mountain; George S. Mount Hebron. The daughters are Mrs. Isaac Dickieson, Auburn, Mass.; Mrs. Wm. A. Cosman, Cascade, Montana; Miss Bessie J. at home. An aged mother, one brother and three sisters also survive. The funeral took place from her late residence, Wednesday afternoon, being conducted by Rev. L.J. Jewett, pastor. Interment at Berwick cemetery. The floral tributes were beautiful.. They included a crescent, daughter Bessie; Spray, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Patterson; spray, W.J. Proctor, Moncton; wreath, Prudential staff, St. John.
