Ethel B. Couch, 96, of Cheyenne died June 10 in Cheyenne.

She was born July 11, 1922, in Pine Bluffs.

She married Charles Couch on Dec. 31, 1940, and they made their home in Cheyenne. She loved to sew and appliqué clothing. She was a talented artist and especially loved to write poetry. She was extremely proud of her entire family, and they were the most important thing to her.

Mrs. Couch was a member of the Eagles and the Moose Auxiliaries.

She is survived by her children, John Couch (Barbara) of Cheyenne, Leonard Couch (Marian Black) of Buffalo, Theresa Lofink (Larry) of Cheyenne and Cheryl Tottenhoff of Cheyenne; a brother, George Butler of Pine Bluffs; seven grandchildren, Darren Couch, Natalie Sanborn, Melissa Tinney, Erin Casey, John Mahaffy, Jason Couch and Stacey Pratt; two step-grandchildren, Chad Lofink and Jodi Magee; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Couch; parents, Mae and Clayton Butler; three sisters, Theresa Butler, Kathryn Edwards and Marie Nugent; three brothers, Richard, Clayton and Charles Butler; and a granddaughter, Serena Wardell.
