James Herbert Petrey
Friday, June 7, 2019 James Herbert Petrey, age 90, of Lafollette, formerly of Baptist Housing in Corbin, passed away on Friday June 7, 2019 in Lafollette, TN.

He was born in Woodbine, KY, to the late James E. Petrey and Otie Leforce Petrey; and was a retired truck driver and US Army veteran of Korea. James was a member and past Deacon at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church; former member of the Masonic Lodge, Knights of Pythias, and Shriner.

In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Lay Petrey; sons, Larry Glen Petrey, Gary Lynn Petrey, and Terry Michael Petrey.

James is survived by his sisters; Opal Petrey Williams and Alma Petrey Gibbs.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2019 from 12noon until 2pm at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held at Corn Creek Cemetery following the visitation on Tuesday, with Rev. Dennis Engle officiating.
