Mildred was born Aug. 27, 1939 to George and Esther Fuchs. She married Charles J. Cicha of Catawba on Nov. 8, 1958, when she came to Rusk County.
She was a member of St. Anthony’s Church in Tony.
Mildred is survived by her husband Charles; her sons Randy (Judy) Cicha of Butternut, Brian Cicha of Catawba and Ron (Carrie) Cicha of Eau Claire; her daughters Cheryl (Rick) Verdegan of Tony and Phyllis Cicha of Weyerhaeuser; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her brothers George Jr., and Clarence; and her sisters Florence, Clara, Margaret, Arlene, Lorraine and Betty.
She was preceded in death by her son Lawrence; her daughter Laura; her parents; her brothers Robert, Paul, William and Donald; and her sisters Dorothy and Martha.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Tony with Fr. Inna Pothireddy officiating. There will be a visitation after 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22 at Nash-Jackan Funeral home in Ladysmith, where a Scripture Service will take place at 6:30 p.m. There will also be a visitation at the church on Wednesday for one hour before the service.
Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Tony.
Nash-Jackan Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
