Mr Pletcher retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1965, after 40 years service. He was born June 22, 1900 in Somerset, the son of Abraham and Laura Pletcher, and married Grace D Klink, on May 2, 1974.
Surviving are eight children, Marlin A of York, Mrs Gladys Hickman of Titusville, Fla; Vernon, Melvin, Eugene, Abe Jr. and Mrs. Bonnie Strayer of Duncansville and Shirley Chamberlain of Altoona; 35 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and a brother and sister, Billy and Mrs. Emma Miller of Somerset.
Friends received Tues. at Liebegott Funeral Home, Services Wednesday with Rev. Herbert Rice. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery.
