Marling A. Pletcher, 82, of York Springs, PA, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born February 13, 1924 in Somerset, PA the son of the late Abraham and Grace (Klink) Pletcher. Marling was a self employed builder and served his country during W.W. II in the Army Air Corp. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louise S. (West) Pletcher; 3 sons, Leslie Pletcher of Altoona, John L. Pletcher of Dillsburg, Paul A. Pletcher of York Springs; 3 daughters, Dr. Cindy L. Oliver of Deland, FL, Rebecca S. Coleman of Edgewater, FL, Priscilla A. Houliston of York Springs; 3 brothers, Eugene Pletcher, Vernon Pletcher, Abraham Pletcher all of Duncansville; 2 sisters, Shirley Chamberlain of Dover and Bonnie Lentz of Duncansville. He also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Allen M. Pletcher.
