Sorry I Had to Leave
Sorry, I had to leave in a sudden kind of way
But my friend Jesus said He needed me today.
So I won't call or even say good-bye.
Jesus, a friend of mine is waiting, so I won't even try.

Don't worry about the future, it's really not that long.
I know you'll be waiting because that's the way of a saint's home.
He told me He had a house, larger then all the mansions on earth,
So I must go with Him now, in my life He comes first.

Well, family, saints, friends, I have to go.
My friend Jesus told me that I can't be late.
So, I must leave with Him in order to get inside the Pearly Gate.
Don't wait up: and please don't cry
Besides you didn't hear me say goodbye.

Just remember who I left with, He's the one that knows
the way.
He's coming back for you one day.
