Tony married Fannie Harrington in 1929. They had six children. Tony was a farmer.

A family service for Tony G. Sofie, 75, Sequim, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sequim Valley Chapel with the Rev. Lowell Prinzing officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Angeles Memorial Park. Mr. Sofie died Saturday on his farm in Sequim.
Tony was born Oct. 23, 1901, near Blyn to George and Christina Sofie. He attended the Burrowes School near Blyn and school in Sequim.
During World War I he worked in the shipyards of Seattle and during World War II he worked in Port Angeles shipyard.
Survivors include his wife, Margarette of Sequim; five sons, Clyde of Mineral, Harold of Sequim, Stanley and Elvin of Port Angeles, and Gene of Vancouver, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Yvonne) Hostetter of Sequim; his mother of Palo Alto Road; three sisters, Nathalie Angiuli of Sequim, Mrs. Theodore (Carmen) Laine and Mrs. Merril D. (Rose) Betham, both of Bremerton; a brother, Austin Sofie of Seattle; and a cousin who grew up with the Sofie family, Frank Costa of Seattle.
Pallbearers will be Louis Sofie, John Sofie, Jerry Angiuli, Terry Sofie, Darien Sofie and Robert Hostetter."
