MARION - Mrs. Sue Rowell Boatwright, 70, wife of F. M. Boatwright of Gresham, died this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jack Price in Darlington.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning from Friendship Baptist Church by her pastor, the Rev. Iverson Graham. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband and the following children, C. Z. Boatwright of Charleston, J. F. Boatwright, P. L. Boatwright and C. K. Boatwright, all of Gresham, W. B. Boatwright of the merchant marines, Mrs. W. J. Kennedy and Mrs. Jack Price of Darlington, Mrs. Thurman Carroll of Conway and Mrs. Charlie George of Centenary; one brother, J. M. Rowell of Sumter; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Shelley of York and Mrs. T. C. Atkinson of Mullins; three half sisters, Mrs. Arthur Shelamer of Florence, Ala., Mrs. Bonnie Corey of Cochituate, Mass., and Miss Mary Rowell of Huntsville, Ala.; and one half brother, Robbie Rowell of Marion.
The body will be at Smith Brothers Funeral Home until the time of services.
