Gordon M. Albert, 71, 2345 County Trunk N, Brussels died Tuesday, May 16, 1989 at a Green Bay hospital.
He was born March 19, 1918 to the late Emil and Charlotte Albert. He worked as a general contractor in the area and was a charter member of the Brussels Lion's Club and active in bowling.
He married Celia Krause on Sept. 19, 1939. She preceded him in death on May 19, 1985.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Myra, McFarland. Wis.; Marvin and Lilly Ann, Eau Claire; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Marcy, Kevin, Steven, Todd and Sherry; four brothers and sisters -in-law, Myron and Lillian, Gardner; Dennis and Audrey, Forestville; Morris John and Jean, Brussels; Emil (Babe) and Jeanie, Green Bay; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Edith and Archil Kaye, Casco; Marge and Alvin Anschutz, Gardner; Marie and Merrill Peters, Sturgeon Bay; a sister-in-law, Evangeline Perlewitz, Algoma; a brother-in-law, Bill Colombo, Sturgeon Bay.
He was preceded in death by his wife; two brothers, Julius and Ernald and one sister Verna.
Friends may call at the Forbes Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Prayer service 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral 10:15 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home and 11 a.m. at Precious Blood Episcopal Church, Gardner with the Rev. James Adams and Rev. Ron Colombo officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
