During WW II Marjorie worked as a welder in the shipyards. She also worked for Emerson's and Amity Leather. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two children, Dennis (JoAnn) Anschutz and Bonnie (Dick) Wilke, all of Sturgeon Bay; daughter-in-law Ardy Anschutz of Oconto; 9 grandchildren: Jason Wilke, Joey (Kayla) Wilke, Holly Anschutz, Culley (Robin) Anschutz, Misty (Joey) Torp, Tracey Steebs, Allen (Annie) Anschutz, Tammy (James) Voeks, and Jesse (Jana) Raines; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law, Evangeline Perlewitz, Audrey Alberts, and Dorothy Anschutz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Alton, 2 sisters, Edith and Marie; 6 brothers: Gordon, Myron, Julius, Dennis, Morris "John", and Emil "Babe; and in-laws.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay with the Rev. Joel Sauer officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of service. Forbes Funeral Home & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
