WALKER
Edgar N. Walker son of Samuel and Amy Walker was born in Springfield tp., Allen Co., Ind., Feb. 10th, 1861, departed this life at his home in Chicago, Ill. Apr. 26, 1913, at the age of 52 yrs. 2 mos. and 16 days. Was married Oct. 19, 1884 to Miss Mary Bunn of Lagrange Co., Ind. Several years of his married life were spent in Chicago, working as the barber trade and later taking up tailoring at which he worked until his death. He was an upright citizen and was well thought of in the community in which he resided. He leaves to mourn his departure, a wife, three daughters, Vera, Edith, and Mrs. Frank Blaney, also two grandchildren, Addie and Dorothy Blaney; one brother Alva L. Walker, of Antwerp, Ohio, four sisters, Ella M. Bowers of Chicago, Ill., Maggie M. Parker, Loa A. Reams and Lillian L. Allen of near Hicksville, Ohio, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was a member of Corner Stone lodge O. 875, A.F. and A.M. of Chicago. Funeral was held April 30, at 2 p.m. with Masonic honors from P.H. Collin's chapel, and laid to rest in Arlington cemetery, Chicago.
