Maude (Triplett) Forbes, 89, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Weirton, W. Va., died Friday, April 1, 1994, in Texas.
She was born June 6, 1904, at Batesville.
She retired as a special education teacher at Weirton and was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Forbes was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Forbes, in 1962, and a daughter, Mary Lois Artip, in 1976.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Mike W. (Shirley) Cornett of Salado, Texas; a brother, Frank Triplett of Summersville; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted by the Rev. Charles Kirkpatrick at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Batesville Cemetery.
