LERMON ABRAMS, age 70 of Connersville passed away on Wednesday September 17, 2014 at his residence.

Born on March 20, 1944 in McKee Kentucky, he is the son of the late Ruffie and Bertha Day Abrams. Lermon had worked at the former D & M for over 24 years and also worked 13 years at Bunzendal. He enjoyed watching TV, especially the History Channel.

He is survived by his son, Lermon Eddie Abrams and wife Paula of Connersville; three brothers, Jon Wayne Abrams and wife Melody of Laurel, Lemuel Abrams of Laurel and Jerry Abrams and wife Letta of Laurel; four sisters, Lutisha Jackson of Connersville; Phyllis Wells and husband James of Arizona; Martha Wicker and husband Stephen of Connersville and Laverne French and husband Bill of Laurel; two grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Marie Fields and three brothers, Lonnie Abrams, Sr., Herschel Abrams and Herbert Abrams.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Urban Winkler Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
