Services for Rose Lee Herren Anderson, age 91, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be conducted on Sunday February 17 at Dyer Funeral Home. Dr. Joe Herren and Bro. Clarence Deloach will officiate. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson passed away Thursday February 14, 2019 in Cookeville. She was born January 8, 1928 in Putnam County, Tennessee to the late Harrison and Melinee Anderson Herren. Rose was a member of Willow Avenue Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherron (Gary) Luhn; grandson, Chris (Tristica) Luhn, all of Putnam County, Tennessee; sister, Mildred Gentry of Winterhaven, Florida; and special niece, Barbara Mott of Putnam County.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband,
Lowery Dibrell (Dib) Anderson; five brothers, Avo Burgess, Ned, Solon, Claude, Clarence, and Claudie Herren; and three sisters, Ova Allison, Jewel Olive, and Nola King.
Pallbearers will be Charles Bean, Donald Thrasher, David Little, David Mayberry, Randall Herren, and Don Wagnon.
