Frank Lambert Dies

Frank Lambert, retired farmer whose home was at 411 East A, died in his home Tuesday, March 7, at the age of 78. Mr. Lambert was born in Reno County July 5, 1888, a son of J.A. and Alice Lambert. He was married to Alma Clark in Kingman in 1910. They observed their 50th wedding anniversary in 1960.

Mr. Lambert had farmed in Varner and Pretty Prairie communities until his retirement in 1961 when he and Mrs. Lambert moved into Kingman.

He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, March 9, in the Methodist Church. Burial was made in the Walnut Hill Cemetery with Rev. Albert Rymph officiating.

Survivors include the widow of the home; one son, the Rev. Harold Lambert of Russell; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Burkert of Minneapolis, Minn.; one brother, A.J. Lambert of Arlington; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Ravens of Kingman; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
