Martha Pearl (Jones) Dickey, 78, a former resident of Samburg, died at Union City Manor Nursing Home Sept. 2, 1999. Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, White-Ranson Funeral Home, Elder Tyrone Snell officiating; burial, Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.
Pallbearers: John McBride, David Lancaster, Donald Lancaster, Richard Lancaster, Mike Lancaster and Roger Norris. She was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Obion County, to the late Sam and Allie (Bly) Jones. She married Richard Lancaster in 1936. He died in 1955.
She then married Clifford Dickey in 1959. He survives. Survivors: daughter, Marie Norris; 2 sons, Wilford and Donald Lancaster; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, William and Earl Lancaster.
